First of all titanium is hypo-allergenic, you will not get an adverse reaction to the repeated exposure. Titanium does not corrode, and will not be affected by sweat or humidity. Titanium is light and can be carried in a pocket, but has enough mass to absorb impact.
How to use the striking plate:
Hold with one hand and strike the plate with just enough force to feel the impact resonate through the bone. Keep the power low enough as to not feel any pain. After each session, rub your bones with a mixture of water and Epsom slats.
Repeat the process only after any soreness is completely gone. Over doing it would actually be counterproductive.
