OMANI
An object proves its perfection by not evolving through the centuries. The axe is a good example.
Take a look at an axe today and compare it to one 2,000 years old, they are the same. The Omani falls into the same category, a knife designed thousands of years ago and still in use today in the Middle East (with incredible effectiveness). The concept is very simple; a knife curved inward kind of like a raptors claw, held in reverse grip. The knife was sheathed right in front of the abdomen, for quick deployment. Still nowadays this weapon is a symbol of notoriety and status in society. The techniques used were proven effective again and again. Very simply a quick draw and a clawing motion. The concept of the outward edge slash did not exist. Also very advanced fighting concepts
were utilized (palasut, cover and slash, pass and hit, etc). Our Omani is a modernized and revised version of the original.
